The Main Principle

I once had a pastor who liked to say "the main thing is to keep the main thing as the main thing".    When it comes to fundraising, our troop tries to practice that by encouraging the boys to earn the money by working for it.   Earning their way is a big part of developing healthy character and it helps the boys become more self-reliant - and the boy's really are "the main thing".

Projects

Projects may vary from year to year.   We almost always have our yard sales and popcorn sales but there may be opportunities for other fund raising activities as well.   We want to provide the boys with activities that have meaning in addition to having money making potential.   Look through our calendar of activities this year and if you think of another opportunity that fits the criteria, please let us know with some feedback.
